How to work smart during lockdown.





The beginning of a new year brings people a sense of hope; a hope that we will beat this deadly virus and a hope that people will once again be able to socialise with their friends and family. This does not only apply in our personal lives but also in our professional lives.

Business meetings and strategizing over cups of coffee or lunch have now changed to daily zoom meetings. Had any of us heard of zoom before March 2020?

For some, this lockdown has given them the breathing space they required to re-focus and plan their next career steps.
For others, the lack of socialising and the constant hours stuck indoors has only worsened their mood and in particular, knocked their productivity.

LinkedIn and other social media platforms are constantly flooded with ‘How To’s’, ‘The DO’s and the DO NOT’s’, ‘Lockdown Lessons’ and ‘Productivity Tips’ but it seems most of these tips are focused on activities that pull you
away from your work.

For example, many of the tips have included:

1. Make yourself a cup of tea every half an hour





2. Go for a walk or a run at lunch time





3. Have zoom catch ups with your team





4. Meditate in the morning
